AneScan Version 7 Release Notes
AneScan version 7 has been in the works for some time. The foundation, database, security and framework have been update to improve functionality and allow for new features now and in the future. With the installation of V7 you will notice a new icon. The image seen above will be the new icon.
Below is a list of features immediately available to both tablet (POC) and web portal (ACC) users. Feel free to reach out to our support team with any questions regarding any of the new features.
Point of Care Application new features:
Case type and filtering options
POC filter to include future dated cases
Automated form selection based on type of case
Allow custom display names for providers types (CRNA, Anesthetist, AA)
Patient history automatically retrieved for viewing on Patient form
Ability to collect labs and display on Pre-Op form
POC users will no longer need an admin to unlock their account. “Forgot Password” will send an email with reset options to the email account on record. If an email is not associated with your account, use the settings icon next to sign out to add an email address.

New ACC or website features:
Modified ACC Scheduled Records to show who started a case based on a schedule.
Modified ACC to show open cases
Modified ACC to allow users to view open cases
Modified ACC Scheduled Records to allow for case types
Users will no longer need an admin to unlock their account. “Forgot Password” will send an email with reset options to the email account on record. If an email is not associated with your account, use the profile icon in the top right corner to apply an email address.
What to expect:
The upgrade will be pushed to production at approximately 6:PM EST on Wednesday Nov 4th. At that time the upgrade will automatically launch on any tablet as soon as a user logs into AneScan. If a provider is in a case the tablet will be updated at the next record open, park or close. A provider that is in a case at the time of upgrade may continue documenting as normal.
All AneScan clients must upgrade the application on all tablets. The upgrade typically takes less than 2 minutes and may require administrative credentials depending on the device setup. For this reason, we will alert the IT departments of all clients of the new release. If prompted to allow changes to the tablet choose OK as these changes only pertain to the AneScan installation.
